The future of e-commerce is here, and it looks a lot like social commerce, especially to younger generations whose daily lives are influenced by “checking in” online. According to a new study from US market research firm, Forrester Research, 64% of retailers have made investments in social networking and social media, while another 22% plan to do so within the next 12 months. Recently, Starbucks used their Facebook page to introduce consumers to its new ice cream.
