Zara set to change Australian retail landscape:
Zara is confirmed to open in Sydney’s Westfield and Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall in 2011. According to Nathan Clarke, National directors of retail at Colliers International Zara’s strategy is to open 30 retail stores of between 1200 and 1700 square meters. Zara has 1400 stores across 77 countries including US, UK, China and Russia.

Australians shopping for Christmas early online:
Australian are shopping early online according to online retailer DealsDirect.com.au. The company says females are leading the online shopping charge, with 67 per cent of online sales being made by women and only 33 percent being made by men. The online retailer says people in metropolitan areas are doing more online shopping than those in regional areas.
